Two businesses can be listed in the same directory, but the one with a complete, accurate page is the one customers trust and call. Use this checklist when you fill in your listing on OnlineHai.
The 12-point checklist
- Exact business name. Use the name on your signboard. Do not stuff keywords into the name.
- The right category. Pick the closest match for your main business.
- Full address. Include shop number, street, landmark, area and town, with the correct pin code.
- Map location. Place the marker on your real shop location so directions work.
- A working phone number. Use a number that someone will answer during business hours.
- Business hours. Include weekly off day and lunch breaks, and update for festivals.
- A clear description. In three or four sentences, say what you sell or do, who you serve and what makes you different. Be honest and specific.
- Services or menu. List main products or services, with a price range if you can.
- Photos. Add a clear outside photo so people can find the shop, plus inside, products and your work. Use photos you took or have the right to use.
- FAQs. Answer questions customers often ask: delivery, payment modes, parking, appointments.
- Website and social links, if you have them (available on Standard and Premium).
- Review the page on your phone before sharing, and check the phone number by calling it.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Using different phone numbers or spellings on different sites.
- Uploading blurry or copied photos.
- Choosing a wrong category, which sends the wrong customers.
- Leaving hours unchanged during festivals.
- Making claims you cannot prove, such as “number one” or “best in town”.
